Future Classes

These are the classes I hope to provide. None are available at this time.

Food Mess (ages 2-4), 1 hr
This is an hour long class that lets kids explore food in a fun and creative way. Kids will play with food and get messy, enjoying textures, shapes and tastes. This is a great class for a picky eater, but also for any child ready to explore and learn about different foods.

Cooking Basics (ages 4-5), 6 week course (1 hr sessions)
This class focuses on the basics of cooking, from learning how to crack and egg to using cooking utensils, how to chop, peel and mix. This is great for younger kids just starting out in the kitchen and want to help out. Kids will have fun in the kitchen while learning how to make healthy food choices.

Beginner Cooking I (ages 6-8), 6 week course (1 hr sessions)
This classes will teach kids how to cook fun exciting meals using healthy ingredients. Kids will learn about the main food groups and the “new food pyramid – MyPlate”. Kids will have hands-on experience with every stage of cooking, from sanitizing, preparing and picking food to making meals and cleaning up.

Intermediate Cooking I (ages 6-8), 6 week course (1 hr sessions)
This program is great for children who have experience in the kitchen or who have already taken the Beginner Cooking class. Children will learn how to plan a full, balanced meal, including dessert. Children will have the opportunity to taste new foods and experiment with ingredients in the kitchen.

Beginner Cooking II (ages 9-11), 6 week course (1 hr sessions)

Pizza Time (ages 6-10), 2hrs
This one hour class is devoted to pizza! Kids will learn how to roll out dough, explore different toppings and cook a pizza. At the end, they’ll have a pizza party where they can try each others creations.

Cooking 101 (adults 18+), 6 week course (1 hr sessions)
This class is great for beginner chefs and even adults who don’t like to cook or might be out of good ideas.

Crock Pot Creations (adults 18+), 3 week course (1 hr sessions)
Bring in your crock pot and we’ll get you started. Learn the basics of how to use your crock pot creatively and effectively. You’ll take home your crock pot full and ready to plug in when you get home.

A Week in a Day (adults 18+), 6hrs
Come cook with us for a day and leave with meals for the entire week. All food is supplied! Just bring your own Tupperware.

Parties (all ages), 3hrs (up to 10 people)
Have a cooking party for a birthday or just for fun. Come with your friends, prepare, cook and enjoy your food!
